LOLA

Meet Lola, a 4-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with the spirit of a cheetah (and the legs of a very enthusiastic loaf of bread). Known for her zoomies that defy the laws of physics, Lola's racing skills are powered by her love for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and an unrelenting passion for chasing after anything vaguely snack-shaped. When she’s not leaving other dogs in the dust, you can find her strategically napping in sunbeams or “helping” in the kitchen by being adorably underfoot. Lola’s motto? “Short legs, big dreams!”

MILLER

Miller is a 4.5 year old tri-color corgi! He has 4 corgi cousins who he loves to run around and chase all over. He is as fast as my sister German short haired pointed. Knowing corgis coming from breeding dogs, that totally lands for Miller. He loves to put on a show and do well for his mom!

OLIVE

Olive, a social butterfly with a serious modeling career (she knows her angles), is basically a furry, four-legged influencer. Her hobbies include communing with nature (hiking, paddle boarding, swimming, camping – the usual influencer stuff), cuddling (for the 'gram, obviously), and judging with the hard core side eye look. This lil diva is turning the ripe old age of 3 in June but has the best years to come. While she's a regular Michael Phelps in the water, on land she's more like a tiny, dust-devil-creating a tornado of zoomies, leaving all other competitors choking in her dust (literally). She's less "racing" and more "creating a tiny but mighty furry vortex of mayhem."

OLIVER

Oliver is a tri-colored 4 year old. He loves to chase his older brother who is part greyhound. Aside from burrowing in the snow, he loves to herd the neighborhood dogs.

PAL

The Denver Mini Derby is my favorite event of the year! Not only do I get to dust off my derby duds (and dust the competition), but the Corgi Community at the Mini Derby is unparalleled. It’s Paw-Some! This April, I’ll be turning 3 years old, but I’m still as spunky as ever, and have been practicing the race with friends in Cheesman Park. The last few months have been filled with great adventure. I’ve been traveling, exploring, and was even a Celebrity Guest at the Denver Dog Fair. You can see what I’ve been up to @pal_o_mine, and see how fast I can go (long of body, short of leg, but full of determination) - watch out derby horses, I’m coming for you next!

PENELOPE

Meet Penelope the Pembroke Corgi—aka "The Fluff Rocket!" 🚀 At 6.5 years old, this sassy ball of fluff is living her best Colorado life, where adventure is her middle name. Whether she's perched as the Captain of the family boat, zooming through snowdrifts in her dad’s snowmobile jacket, or supervising construction from the seat of an excavator, Penelope brings her signature energy to everything she does.

She's a certified toy connoisseur, with a soft spot for squeaky and crinkly treasures, and never says no to a gourmet slice of lunchmeat. When she’s not chasing her high-speed dreams, you can find her tearing up the trails in Deer Creek Canyon, where she trains daily for the "Fastest Corgi Alive" title. Engines, altitude, and adventure—Penelope's got it all. 🌟

SEYMOUR

Seymour is 2 yrs old and a menace to our household. He loves people and all the dogs. His high energy personality and quickness makes him a good racer.

SHRIMP

Shrimp is a 3 year old Welsh Pembroke corgi who adores people and other dogs. He loves going on walks and chasing squirrels. His favorite activity is cuddling with his mom on the couch and spending time getting pets. He’s the best boy. Shrimp is very fast but also the quintessential adorable corgi so he’d make a perfect addition to race.

STELLA

Stella will be 5 years old on Race day. Her favorite things are: playing fetch, pup cups, and waking my dad up. Stella has only raced other corgis once, but she was addicted as she loves speed and feeling the wind through her huge ears. She’s hoping to take home the gold!

ZANE

Zane is a spirited 3-year-old true Colorado Corgi who thrives on adventure year-round. Whether he's hiking through the stunning Rockies or chasing rabbits with his older brother, Zeke, another playful Corgi he's always on the move. When it's time to unwind, Zane loves cuddling on the couch with the family, cheering on all the Colorado sports teams together.

WALTER

Walter is an energetic 3 year old corgi with doggie ADHD. He loves belly scratches and playing with his best friend, a cocker spaniel named Bodhi. He is an advent squirrel hunter and loves being outside. When he is not chasing squirrels or other dogs, Walter unwinds by watching horse videos on YouTube. He raced last year in the derby but lost because he was trying to make friends with the guy filming at the finish line. He lost but won a new friend.
